Azerbaijani ruling party admits group of cultural figures

The ruling New Azerbaijan party admitted a group of cultural figures. The singers Gulyanag and Gulyaz Mammadovs, Rashad Ilyasov, Tunzala Agayeva, actress Vafa Zeynalova and TV showman Azer Ahsham got certificates of the party.

The deputy chairman of the ruling party, executive secretary Ali Ahmadov said that the party consists of about 540,000 people. About 20,000 - 30,000 people are admitted to the party.

Each member of the ruling party is the pride and strength of the ruling party, he said.

"Our strength is in the authority of the party, its public support and the faith of people in the party," he said.
