Azeri Ombudsman and OSCE mull cooperation

Commissioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova met Tuesday with outgoing head of the OSCE Baku office Ali Bilge Cankorel to discuss prospects for cooperation.

The commissioner praised establishment of ombudsman's office in Turkey following a referendum to amend the constitution. According to her, it will open up opportunities for cooperation with Azerbaijan in this sphere.

Cankorel hailed what Azeri ombudsman does in the country. He pointed out the OSCE Baku Office is interested in cooperation with the ombudsman.
