Uzbek Defense Minister visits Azerbaijan

On June 13, Uzbekistan’s Defense Minister, Major General Kabul Berdiyev, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, met with Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev. Press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said that an official welcome ceremony was held at the Defense Ministry after he visited Heydar Aliyev’s memorial in the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs.

At the large meeting, the defense ministers exchanged view on the development of Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations as well as military and political situation in the region.

Then the ministers held a face-to-face meeting.
