Azerbaijan develops rules of assessing civil servants' activity

09 June 2011 [08:30] - TODAY.AZ
Azerbaijan has developed the rules of assessing the civil servants' activity.

The Cabinet of Ministers will approve the document one of these days, the chairman of the Public Service Commission under the President Bahram Khalilov said.

At the initial stage, the activity of civil servants of one central and one local executive body will be assessed as a pilot project. Afterwards, all civil servants will be assessed, Khalilov said.

"The pilot project will enable to summarize and to analyze the results, to gain experience in this area and to promptly resolve the problems that may arise in this work," Khalilov said.

He considers it possible to start the process this year.

Khalilov said that the main criteria for assessing civil servants were determined in the rules.
