Russian Ambassador: As a result of the international efforts, there is a chance to reach serious agreements on the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict

"As one of the co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group, Russia is taking efforts towards the solution of Azerbaijan’s most painful problem Nagorno Karabakh conflict. I can not go into the details of the negotiations, but when we say "As a mediator Russia is doing its best", we do not dissemble. As a result of the international efforts, there is a chance to reach serious agreements and Russia is doing its best to use this chance," Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said at the press conference devoted to the Russia Day.

Ambassador said of the co-chairing countries only Russia is carrying on negotiations on the highest level concerning the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

"There were moments of disappointment in the negotiations, but now is the moment of hopes. Negotiations are being carried on, the co-chairs are in the region. The ministers will meet on June 11, the presidents are expected to meet at the end of the month. I do not want to predict, but all this raises hopes for the soonest resolution of the conflict," he said.
