
Incoming Azerbaijani ambassador Namig Aliyev has presents his credentials to Moldova's deputy foreign and European integration minister Andrey Popov.
During the talk, Popov recalled a recent meeting between acting Moldovan President Marian Lupu and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Rome.
The Moldovan deputy FM praised his country's relations with Azerbaijan, expressing hope they would continue developing.
Popov said he believed the new ambassador would contribute to building a more fruitful cooperation within GUAM, OSCE and UN, as well as Eastern Partnership Program.
Aliyev said he would spare no efforts to contribute to developing the Azerbaijan-Moldova relations.
