OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs start visit to region

Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, the mediatory mission in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Robert Bradtke (USA), Bernard Fassier (France) and Igor Popov started their visit to the region.

The co-chairs are in Baku now.

The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will hold talks with the Azerbaijani officials on Monday to discuss the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as well as preparations for the meetings between the foreign ministers and presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia.

The co-chairs will leave Baku for Yerevan. They are planning to visit Khankendi too. The mediators will observe monitoring of frontline tomorrow and then will move from the opposite side to the territory controlled by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
