Azerbaijani parliamentarians to attend PACE Legal Affairs and Human Rights Committee in Oslo

Azerbaijani MPs Elkhan Suleymanov and Fazil Mustafa will participate in the meeting of PACE Legal Affairs and Human Rights Committee in Oslo, Norway, on June 5-8, press service of the Parliament said.

The principle of equality, parliament’s role in the field of protection human rights, the situation of human rights in Norway, the struggle against discrimination and intolerance, activity of European Court on Human Rights and other issues are included in the meeting’s agenda.

The seminar on "Reinforcement of the Rule of law in Europe" will be held within the visit.

MPs Suleymanov and Mustafa will visit Ankara, Turkey on June 9-13 in order to observe the June 12 parliamentary elections in this country. The MPs will watch the process under the auspices of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
