
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu, who is representing Turkey at the events dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of the unification of Italy and Republic Day in Rome, told journalists that he had met with the President of Azerbaijan to exchange views on the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
Turkish foreign minister emphasized that he "feels joy to observe Mr. Ilham Aliyev's determination and optimistic outlook for the future".
Davudoglu also said he hopes talks between Azerbaijan and Armenian Presidents in Kazan, Russia, would yield positive results.
