Azerbaijani President congratulates his Italian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to President of Italy Giorgio Napolitano, the Azerbaijani President's official website reported.

"I offer my most cordial congratulations to you and your people on the National Holiday of your country - Republic Day. The current level of Azerbaijan-Italy relations causes pleasure. I hope that we will continue joint efforts to strengthen the friendship between our countries and encourage our cooperation," the congratulation message says.

Ilham Aliyev wished Giorgio Napolitano good health, success in his activities, and the Italian people - peace and prosperity.
