US ambassador visits Astara region

US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza visited Astara region within his tour of the southern part of Azerbaijan in the second half of the day on May 31.

The US diplomat met with head of the local executive power Taleh Garashov in Astara. They discussed the economic potential of the region, tourism capacity and agricultural projects, as well as prospects of the US-Azerbaijan cooperation.
