Azerbaijan's CEC completes process of drawing up new voter lists

The Azerbaijani CEC completes the process of drawing up new voter lists across the country.

The permanent voter lists have been drawn up by the district election commissions since January 2011. They were submitted to the relevant district election commissions on February 5, the CEC said.

The district election commissions drew up the voter lists in the districts and submitted them to the CEC on April 5. The assistance was provided by local executive and municipal bodies.

The CEC has begun drawing up the voter lists in the country through the state automated information system since April 5. The process will be completed by May 18.

Thus, a single voter list will get a status of the official document. It will be published on the CEC's website.
