First Lady of Czech Republic Livia Klausová tours National Park

First Lady of the Czech Republic Livia Klausová as part of the visit to Azerbaijan has today toured the Baku seaside park (National Park).

Ms. Klausová was informed that in accordance with the Decree signed by President Heydar Aliyev on December 29, 1998, the seaside park was granted the National Park status.

The guest was told that the boulevard contains an amusement park, yacht club and musical fountain, and various statues and monuments. The park is popular with dog-walkers and joggers, and is convenient for tourists, being adjacent to newly built International Center of Mugham and musical fountain.

With a history going back more than 100 years, the National Park recently underwent major reconstructions.
