Azerbaijan's President receives Georgian Defense Minister

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday received Georgian Defense Minister Bachana Akhalaia, the Azerbaijani President's official website reported.

The Georgian minister conveyed greetings of President Mikheil Saakashvili to the Head of Azerbaijani State.

They said relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia were developing successfully in various spheres, exchanged views on prospects for bilateral defense cooperation.

President Ilham Aliyev asked the minister to pass on his greetings to Georgian leader Mikheil Saakashvili.
