
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received Michel Voisin, deputy chairman of French National Assembly's defense committee, Azerbaijani President’s official website reported.
Rapid development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France, successful cooperation in different spheres and significance of interparliamentary ties were stressed at the meeting. An importance of reciprocal visits in strengthening of relations was also underlined at the meeting.
Deputy chairman of French National Assembly's defense committee Michel Voisin said his country is keen to develop relations between Azerbaijan and France not only in the fields of policy and economy, but also in humanitarian and other spheres.
Next the head of state received ISESCO Director
General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri.
The ISESCO Director General said birthday of
national leader Heydar Aliyev was an important day, adding people
celebrate this day with great joy and happiness.
The Head of State praised the level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and ISESCO.
President
Ilham Aliyev expressed hope the visit of Director General Abdulaziz
Othman Altwaijri to Azerbaijan would serve expansion of this cooperation
even more.
Touching upon the World Forum on Intercultural
Dialogue held in Baku, the President stressed the importance of
Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri`s participation in this international event.
The
ISESCO Director General underlined the necessity of the fact that Baku
has become an area hosting great international events.
During the meeting, the parties expressed confidence Azerbaijan-ISESCO cooperation would continue to boost.
