
Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), will discuss the frozen conflicts in the South Caucasus, as well as the organization’s policy on its region with US officials next week.
On May 12, Mr. Rasmussen will explain the "New Security Challenges, New NATO" to US-based
analysts on the region in Washington DC.
The NATO’s priorities in both regions and integration issues also will be on the agenda of visit.
During May, Fogh Rasmussen also will be visiting four US cities—Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Austin and Chicago—to engage the American public about NATO’s critically important role in the transatlantic relationship.
