
An international conference on security in the South Caucasus and Turkey-Azerbaijan relationship will be held in Turkey on May 16-17.
The event will be co-organized by representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Uludag University.
The event will be addressed by professor of US-based University of Kentucky Kerri Cavanaugh, professor of University of North Dakota Tomas Ambrosio, Turkish and Azerbaijani political scientists.
They will highlight threats posed by Armena's aggression policy to peace and stability in the region, role of Turkey in settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Khojaly genocide in the context of international law, role of global powers in security issues of the South Caucasus.
Head of Heydar Aliyev Foundation's representation in Turkey Samir Jafarov, Azerbaijani ambassador Faig Bagirov, consul general Hasan Zeynalov will attend the conference.
