Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev's birthday marked in Saudi Arabia

Azerbaijan's Embassy in Saudi Arabia organized a commemorative event to mark the 88th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The event participants viewed photos and documents featuring national leader's lifetime and activity. Opening the event, ambassador Tofig Abdullayev highlighted Heydar Aliyev's great services to his people.

He said a new page was opened in Azerbaijan's history when the national leader came to power again in 1993. The diplomat added all accomplishments the country achieved are the results of the national leader's forward-looking policy which is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
