Mayor of Kazan tours historic core of Baku

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin toured the Icharishahar, Inner City, historic core of Azerbaijan's capital.

Metshin was informed about the Icharishahar which was included in the UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Mayor of Kazan visited the Maiden Tower, Siratagli religious- architectural complex, Gosha Gala Gates (Twin Gates) of Icherishahar.

Ilsur Metshin also visited Mohammed Mosque and familiarized himself with the museum-conservation works completed in the mosque last year.

Kazan mayor signed the Icharishahar's honorary guests book.
