
The meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers will be held in Istanbul on May 11.
Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmoud Mammadguliyev will represent Azerbaijan at the meeting.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will chair the meeting. Neighborhood policy of the Council of Europe, issues related to the European Convention on Human Rights will be discussed at the meeting. Convention of the Council of Europe “On preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence” will be presented for signature.
Ahmet Davutoglu will make a report on the work done by Turkey within the six months of chairmanship of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers. Ukraine will take over the chairmanship at the end of the meeting,
