Baku presents the film "Shusha - the cradle of destroyed culture."
It was demonstrated at the central headquarters of the public association "Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan."
The presentation ceremony was opened by the chairman of the public association Bayram Safarov. After Shusha was occupied by Armenians, cultural monuments belonging to the Azerbaijani people were destroyed.
Armenia continues to plunder the historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, despite the UN Security Council's resolutions and other international organizations, the Chairman of Public Association "Regional legal education" Kamala Pashayeva said.
"The world community is indifferent to such behavior of the Armenians," she said. "Therefore, these films are of great importance to convey the information about the occupied Azerbaijani lands to the world community."
She said that this film will be dubbed into several languages and demonstrated in other countries.
The Armenian diaspora conducted a propaganda campaign against the Azerbaijani people for years, a consultant of the film, MP Ganira Pashayeva said.
"The campaign against Azerbaijan is conducted as an information war," she said. "Only 9 million of the Azerbaijani people are Azerbaijani citizens. Millions of people live outside Azerbaijan. All the Azerbaijanis living in the world must unite to fight against Armenian lies."
Armenians, using lies, try to destroy the history and culture of one nation. The civil society of Azerbaijan must be active to confront the lies, she said. Pashayeva thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for support.
"Today our goal is to convey the acts of genocide committed against our culture in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan to the world community, "she said.
The film was demonstrated. The film reflects the facts and documents about the contributions of Shusha to the world culture and art, being the cradle of ancient culture. The politics of the Russian Empire on resettlement of Armenians to Karabakh, including Shusha, occupation of Shusha, which is an integral part of Azerbaijan were reflected in the film.
