Azerbaijani Defense Minister and U.S. Ambassador discuss postponed Regional response -2011 joint military exercise

Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev today received U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza.

Defense Ministry’s press service said that the sides discussed US-Azerbaijan bilateral military cooperation and its development prospects and spoke about the date of the postponed Regional response – 2011 joint military exercise. They also exchanged views on the security of energy infrastructure.

U.S. Military Attache to Azerbaijan Malvin Douglas Sax also attended the meeting.
