Defense Ministry: US-Azerbaijan joint military exercise delayed

"US-Azerbaijan joint military exercise was delayed", chief of the press service of the Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu said commenting on the statement by the chief of public relations department of the US Embassy Terry Davidson that the exercises were delayed by the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.

US-Azerbaijan Regional Response 2011 military training was scheduled to May 15-25, but then it was delayed for unknown reasons.

Chief of the US Embassy’s public relations department Terry Davidson said that the exercises were delayed by the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan and therefore its reasons should be asked to this organization.
