Azerbaijani FM: Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran's cooperation to promote stability and development in region

Azerbaijan is interested in developing relations with Iran in political, economic and cultural spheres, IRNA news agency quotes Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov as saying after arriving in the Iranian city of Urmia on Saturday.

Mammadyarov highly appreciated the current state of bilateral relations with Iran. He said that Iran has broad potential to boost economic cooperation and Azerbaijan intends to use this potential.

Commenting on the forthcoming meeting of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Iranian foreign ministers in Urmia, Mammadyarov said that the cooperation between the three countries will promote stability and development in the region.

The trilateral meeting of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran’s foreign ministers will be held in Urmia in the afternoon.
