UAE's newspaper publishes article on Baku Forum

An authoritative newspaper of United Arab Emirates "Al Ittihad" published article of UAE's Minister of Culture, Youth and Social Development, Abdurrahman Bin Muhammad Al Owais's on World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku.

The minister highly praised Baku Forum's importance. Quoting President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev's opening remarks at the Forum's opening ceremony the Minister said:

"That's to say the high level of ethnic and religious tolerance in Azerbaijan is a fact and also a source of our power".

The president also touched upon problems existing in the world: "Today, the world is engaged in extensive discussions on globalization, intercultural dialogue and multi-culturalism". The President assessed this as a positive thing, "because there should be a constant exchange of opinion on these issues".

Al Owais underlined that world community need to act jointly and counteract threats in the cultural sphere. He praised the Baku Forum as a perfect way to discuss how to solve cultural problems stemming from cultural diversity.
