Mevlut Chavushoglu: We are grateful to Azerbaijan for organization of world forum on intercultural dialogue

"We are grateful to Azerbaijan for organization of the world forum on intercultural dialogue", said PACE President Mevlut Chavushoglu in Baku.

Mr. Chavushoglu said one of the priority tasks of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is development of the intercultural and interreligious dialogue of Europe. "In particular, one of the important measures on combating racism, extremism and religious discrimination is widening of the intercultural dialogue. Azerbaijani side helped not only the development of intercultural dialogue but also the activity of the Council of Europe. We support and praise these initiatives of Azerbaijan. This event will help to improve international image of the country and strengthen its positions", PACE President.

Mr. Chavushoglu said an important event on international dialogue with the elements of religion with participation of the leaders of five world religions of Europe, as well as various confessions will take place in PACE, in April.
