Defense ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkey hold meeting in Ankara

Within the framework of the visit to Ankara, Azerbaijani defense minister, colonel-general Safar Abiyev met with his Turkish counterpart Vejdi Gonul, Turkish media reported. Guard of honor stood in row at Turkish National Defense Ministry in honor of Abiyev.

Vejdi Gonul told journalists about the issues to be discussed: "We will discuss the issues of mutual interest, especially Nagorno Karabakh and etc. Defense industry, military training will be in the foreground".

In turn, Abiyev thanked Turkey for its support to Azerbaijan in all sphere. The minister noted that issues on Nagorno Karabakh would assume special importance at the meeting: "I hope that our discussions will give result. We will not give any part of our lands. Azerbaijan will mobilize all force and liberate its territories. Armenian armed forces must withdraw from Azerbaijani territories undoubtedly".
