Azerbaijani President receives former CoE secretary general

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the former Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Chairman of the International Coordinating Committee of the WPF "Dialogue of Civilizations", Walter Schwimmer today, the Azerbaijani President’s official website reported.

Schwimmer voiced his pleasure that he will attend the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue to be held in Azerbaijan. Schwimmer praised a great creative work that he observes during his each visit to Baku as evidence to Azerbaijan’s coherent economic development.

Stressing the importance of the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and participation of many countries’ representatives in it, President Aliyev said Azerbaijan become a venue of the prestigious international events.

Aliyev said Azerbaijan has achieved great strides in economic development and it covers the country’s capital and regions.
