Chairman of Korean National Assembly's Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Committee pays respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev

Chairman of Korean National Assembly's Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Committee Song Kwang-ho has today visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev.

He put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

The chairman visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country's independence and territorial integrity. He laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.

"Azerbaijan and Korea develop relations in numerous spheres. Cooperation in the fields of transport and railway will be mainly discussed at the meetings with Azerbaijani officials. Korea has a big experience in railway sphere. If Azerbaijan takes an interest in construction of railways and ports, we will be ready to submit our proposals to the government," Mr. Song Kwang-ho said in his interview to journalists.
