Azerbaijan, Czechia to continue diplomatic consultations

Azerbaijani and Czech foreign ministries will conduct a second round of consultations this year. According to Tahir Taghizade, Azerbaijan's ambassador in Czechia, the consultations will be continued in the second half of 2011.

"The sides are now discussing whether to hold the consultations in Baku or Prague. The consultations will focus on consulate relations, and legal and other issues."

Azerbaijan and Czechia established diplomatic relations in 1993. Czechia`s embassy in Azerbaijan has been operating since 2009, while Azerbaijan opened its embassy in Prague in 2007.
