Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov expresses position on Turkish ambassador’s thoughts

Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov expressed his position on his statement to the interview of Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic, the deputy minister said:

"I am accountable for my each word and all my words have ground. As to the statement of Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan, I do not consider necessary and possible to react in it".

Note that Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister told Turkish "CNN-Turk" TV channel that, Ankara complicated the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, signing the Zurich protocols: "These protocols have created a crisis situation for us. On the other hand normalization process was also suspended and no progress was achieved in the Karabakh peace process".

Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic, who expressed his position to Azimov’s words, told journalists that Azimov’s words reflect his personal opinion: "Turkey’s policy I a strong policy. In any case I think he is wrong".
