Azerbaijani Supreme Court chairman meets with Morocco's Minister of Justice

Chairman of the Azerbaijani Supreme Court met with Morocco's Minister of Justice in Baku.

During a meeting with a delegation headed by Morocco's Minister of Justice Mohamed Nasiri, Chairman of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev informed the guests about the judicial system, structure and activities of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court reported.

Rzayev spoke about the measures undertaken in the country to improve and modernize the judicial system, as well as the tasks faced by the Supreme Court to implement the fair justice and the rule of law.

Expressing satisfaction with the establishment of business relations between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Morocco, Chairman of the Supreme Court expressed confidence that the visit of Morocco's Minister of Justice in our country will promote cooperation between judicial authorities of both countries.

Providing detailed information about the judicial system of Morocco, Nasiri said that cooperation between the two countries is of great importance. This cooperation will be developed in the future.

The ministries of the two countries signed an agreement on Cooperation, agreement on Legal assistance in criminal cases, Legal assistance in civil and commercial cases, Extradition within the visit on March 13-19.
