European Union’s Council to discuss situation in South Caucasus

The situation in the south Caucasus will be discussed at the European Union Foreign Affairs Council’s meeting which will be held on April 12,  the press service of the EU Council reported.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton is expected to inform the attendees on situation in the South Caucasus.

The issue will be widely discussed in the Council. The EU’s cooperation with the “"astern Partnership" countries, as well as the protracted conflicts are also on the Council’s agenda.
