Azerbaijani ambassador presents credentials to Croatian president

Newly appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to Croatia Kamil Khasiyev presented his credentials to Croatian President Ivo Josipovic, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.

During the ceremony, the sides discussed the current state of the Azerbaijan-Croatia bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation. Josipovic was informed about the developments ongoing in Azerbaijan and the region, Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its threat to the region, as well as Azerbaijan's activities within the international organizations.

Khasiev expressed confidence in further development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia.

Josipovic said the Azerbaijan-Croatia relations contribute to the prosperity of the two peoples and expressed hope that the relations will continue to develop on an ascending line.
