Some opposition parties act with the subversive position, hurting the interests of the Azerbaijani state.

"Unfortunately, some opposition parties demonstrate not only the unwillingness to dialogue on the issues of interests of the Azerbaijani people and the state, but also act on these matters with the subversive position," the head of the socio-political department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, Ali Hasanov, said on March 17.

"Some opposition parties are trying that the steps taken by the State end unsuccessfully, foreign and domestic policy of the State collapse. Conducting dialogue with such forces does not make any sense. With such forces, it needs to speak only their language. I regret that there are such forces in Azerbaijan. However, they are not so many, they are not the leading parties of society, they do not have serious social supports, but they are our citizens, they live in our country, and we are forced to communicate with them," Hasanov said replying to a question about the possibility of a dialogue between government and opposition.

Dialogue is one of the basic requirements of society, said Hasanov.

"There are groups that rule the state for a certain period, and groups opposition to them. Normal dialogue between them has always been assessed positively in all societies. Azerbaijani society also appreciates this. We always contact with the Azerbaijani opposition, constantly reiterate readiness to discuss these and other issues. For several times, we came together to discuss these and other questions. In particular, we discussed issues of national importance affecting the interests of the Azerbaijani State. We are prepared for it further," Hasanov said.
