Azeri FM and member of European Parliament discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

On Thursday, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with visiting member of the European Parliament (MEP) Zoran Thaler.

Mammadyarov briefed the MEP on the peace talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, saying diplomatic means of solving the conflict have not exhausted yet.

The Minister hailed European Parliament's adopting the resolution "The need for European Union's strategy for the South Caucasus" and its stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict reflected in the document.

Thaler noted Azerbaijan's stance on the conflict is based on international legal norms and principles.
