OSCE Chairman meets heads of Azerbaijan`s political parties

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis met heads of the political parties of Azerbaijan in Baku, on March 14.

Mr. Ažubalis said Azerbaijan plays an important role in ensuring energy security in Europe. He said last year parliamentary elections demonstrated that there are good opportunities for development in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan has to overcome all difficulties that the country's political parties would normally function within and outside of the parliament, said OSCE chairman.

The heads of the political parties stressed the importance of OSCE's efforts in resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
