OSCE wants Azerbaijani political parties to be active inside and outside the parliament

OSCE wants the Azerbaijani political parties to show activity in parliament, as well as in political life outside the parliament, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis said at a meeting with the political parties.

He said democratic progress are important.

"Azerbaijan has chosen the democratic way of development and should develop in this direction," Azubalis said.

He stressed that Azerbaijan is an important state in the region, as well as in Europe, in terms of ensuring its energy security.

Azubalis said the legislation on elections and political parties should be improved in Azerbaijan.
