Azerbaijan and Albania have signed an agreement on abolishing visa requirements for persons with diplomatic and service passports. The agreement was undersigned following talks between Albanian Foreign Minister Edmond Hacinasto and his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku.
Albania has expressed an interest in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres, including energy, tourism and trade, Mammadyarov said at a briefing following the meeting.
The parties agreed to hold meetings of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
"We are at a new stage of bilateral relations and we intend to develop them," Hacinasto said on his visit to Baku.
