Commander of Baku military compound appointed

Lieutenant-General Kerim Veliyev was appointed to the post of commander of the Baku military compound upon the decision of the Azerbaijani president, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, a military source told Trend.

Earlier, National Hero of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant-General Rovshan Akperov, who was appointed commander of military compound, held this position.
