UNO High Commissioner on Refugees to visit Azerbaijan

UNO High Commissioner on Refugees Antonio Guterres is expected to visit Azerbaijan on May 18-19, Chairman of State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov told APA.

According to him, Quterres will visit Armenia before Azerbaijan: "The meeting with the country's leadership is considered during the visit. We have an idea to take him to the regions and acquaint him with the settlements constructed for IDPs. And the acquaintance with the hostels in Baku, which have the most serious state, is considered during his visit. The conference on the 60th anniversary of UN's "Status of Refugees" convention will be also organized during the visit".
