Ukraine appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has appointed the country’s ambassador to Azerbaijan. Alexander Mishchenko has been appointed as the Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan, UKRINFORM reported.

Alexander Mishchenko served as the Ukrainian ambassador to Turkey from 2005. Prior to his appointment to Turkey, he served as Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Australia.
