The International public together with the Congress of Mexico  should work together and give a fair assessment to the Khojaly  tragedy, Azerbaijan-Mexico Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Head, MP Marcos Perez said at the event in the Mexican parliament dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the tragedy in the Azerbaijani town of Khojaly, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico reported.

The MPs emphasized that the horrible pictures are evidence of Armenian aggression and crimes, which were severe violation of human rights. They noted that aggression had no border and nationality and the international community, including the Mexican Congress must unite their efforts to stop the violation of human rights and other crimes against the humanity.

Azerbaijani Ambassador Ilgar Mukhtarov informed the participants about the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and consequences of the Khojaly tragedy. The Khojaly genocide is one of the horrible attacks and one of the inhuman and cruel crimes committed by Armenia against the Azerbaijani people.
