Chairman of the opposition Azerbaijan Democratic Party accused the Popular Front Party (PFPA) and Musavat Party of the inability to create an opposition movement.
Subjective factors are taken into account in resolving a number of issues in the Azerbaijani opposition, chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu told Trend.
According to him, considering subjective factors hinder the restoration of the Movement for Karabakh and the Republic (MKR).
"Subjective factors play an important role in the political processes in Azerbaijan. The forces opposing against the restoration of MKR dont give any objective reasons. Nobody gives basic, scientific and serious arguments. They bring only children's arguments like "I do not like him, he does not like me," Jalaloglu said.
According to him, mainly PFPA and Musavat act against the restoration of MKR.
If the PFPA and Musavat Party do not participate in the restoration of movement, the organization will be formed under another name.
The Movement for Karabakh and the Republic was established by six parties during the referendum on changes to the Constitution, held in March 2009. Having existed for some time, the movement dissolved, its activity ceased. Some time ago, ADP and Umid parties made an initiative to restore the movement.
MKD is a movement of the past, said the chairman of the Assembly of Musavat Party Arzu Samadbeyli. Today, there is a Public Chamber, which unites wider circles.
"There are not serious and compelling reasons for the restoration of this movement. Some organizations, which stayed away, decided to unite. It is their personal action. We do not interfere in these affairs, and I think that there is no prospect to recover the old form of this movement. That is the question which does not require any discussion," said Samadbayli.
Deputy chairman of the Popular Front Party, Fuad Gahramanli, expressing his opinion on the matter, said that his party considers the creation of this movement as the moment of history and the Popular Front Party does not intend to join such an organization. According to him, the PPFA has not received any official complaints.
"Currently, we give priority to the Public Chamber, an integration model of the opposition. We believe that the forces that wish to participate in this integration process, seek to develop democratic processes should work in the Public Chamber," said Gahramanly Trend.
A number of Azerbaijani political parties, NGOs and the candidates who were dissatisfied with the results of parliamentary elections in 2010 established the Public Chamber.
