
The Civil Aviation Administrations of Azerbaijan and Great Britain decided to grant the designated airlines of both countries the right to conclude bilateral agreements on joint commercial activities with a view to liberalize air transport. The sides made such a decision during the talks held on Jan.25, the Civil Aviation Administration reported today.
The sides discussed the issue of making changes to existing bilateral intergovernmental agreement on air traffic and prospects for further cooperation.
The next round of talks between the delegations of civil aviation administrations of Azerbaijan and Great Britain was held on the proposal of the British side. The Azerbaijani Civil Aviation Administration was established by Presidential decree dated Dec. 29, 2006 and is the central body of executive power, exercising control, public policy and regulation in the field of civil aviation.
