Indian embassy in Azerbaijan marks its national holiday

The embassy of India to Azerbaijan hosted an official reception to mark the national holiday, the 61st anniversary of the Republic Day on January 26.

Speaking at the ceremony, the country's ambassador Debnath Shaw highlighted Indian achievements in various fields.

He praised relations between Azerbaijan and India.

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyngulu Bagirov congratulated the people of India on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev.

The Minister said Azerbaijan`s economy were dynamically developing. He also expressed assurance relations would be established in the future between the countries in various fields.

The event gathered Azerbaijani state and government officials, representatives of international organizations and diplomatic corps.
