Azerbaijan to mark anniversary of restoration of state independence

Under the Order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev “On the 20th anniversary of restoration of the state independence of Azerbaijan Republic” issued on January 21 the anniversary of state independence of Azerbaijan will be marked at state level in the country.

The President has also endorsed a certain plan of action to mark this event. As known, the Constitutional Act on Independence adopted on October 18, 1991 has declared the Republic of Azerbaijan as the successor of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic of 1918.
