Azerbaijani President receives new Swiss ambassador's credentials

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received credentials of newly appointed ambassador of Switzerland to the country Mrs. Sabine Ulmann Shaban on Wednesday.

President Ilham Aliyev and the Swiss ambassador had a conversation. The Head of State said relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland were at good level. The President added Azerbaijan was determined to expand this cooperation in various spheres.

The Swiss ambassador, in turn, underlined the importance of reciprocal visits for the two countries. Diplomat underscored the importance of development of relationship between the two countries in the future, as well.

President Aliyev said relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland were developing dynamically. He underlined bilateral relations had reached the level of partnership. The Head of State stressed the importance of reciprocal visits at the level of presidents.

President Ilham Aliyev also expressed confidence that relations between the two countries would develop successfully during the ambassador`s tenure. The Head of State wished successes to the ambassador in her activities.
