Azerbaijani parliament's vice speaker discusses IDPs problem with Bosnia and Herzegovina's FM

Vice Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov discussed with Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sven Alkalaj the problem of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the Parliament of Azerbaijan reported.

During the meeting, Askerov noted that Armenia does not fulfill the requirements of resolutions adopted by UN, the Council of Europe and other international organizations, as well as rules and principles of international law. According to him, as a result of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, there are one million refugees and internally displaced persons in Azerbaijan.

Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the meeting noted that his country also faced with the problem of refugees. "Therefore, we well understand you," said Alkalaj.

According to him, Bosnia and Herzegovina supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan can always rely on his country's support to the UN on this issue.

The meeting also discussed effective use of existing capacities for development of cooperation.
