Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina sign cooperation protocol

The Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a cooperation protocol. The document was undersigned during Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sven Alkalaj's visit to Baku on Wednesday, the Azerbaijani foreign ministry reported.

During the visit, Alkalaj met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. The sides discussed issues of bilateral and regional cooperation. Mammadyarov noted the high level of political relations and the need for cooperation in the economic sphere.

Alkalaj, in turn, stressed the importance of intensifying mutual visits at various levels, as well as strengthening the legal framework between the two countries. He expressed Bosnia and Herzegovina's support on the issue of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.
